Totally RAD

I had a totally RAD time being all bright and creative with this 30th birthday cake [Original cake design sent by client].

I am a massive believer that the cake needs to be presented on a stage {AKA Cake board} to set the scene. 80% of my cake boards are airbrushed to reflect the cake design. I am pretty lucky that my wonderful clients trust me and my skills enough for me to do this. In the "normal" cake world the cake artist would have cut the individual coloured square pieces... But not me... With the help of JOHNNY {my iwata eclipse airbrush} we rocked out to Led Zepplin and got creating...

The decorations I created using white fondant and then airbrushed to give the bright 80's look my client asked for...
